8-8-2007 KRUGLOYE-MOSCA km. 600 ca. La mattina veniamo ricevuti dal sindaco che ci ringrazia per il nostro aiuto all'orfanotrofio; scambio di doni e poi via a visitare l'orfanotrofio. Entriamo nel cortile dove in nostro onore e stato steso un lungo tappeto, sopra il quale parcheggiamo moto e jeep. Ai lati i bambini formano due lunghe fila che ci applaudono; sopra all'edificio vediamo appeso uno striscione che ci da il benvenuto in italiano ed in bielorusso. Scendiamo dai mezzi e due ragazze in costume locale ci vengono incontro con del pane; poi i bambini ci mettono al collo ghirlande fatte da loro con gru di carta con la tecnica origami, sopra le quali hanno scritto il loro nome ed un pensierino. Le porteremo con noi in viaggio: un motivo in piu per arrivare ad Hiroshima. Abbiamo tutti gli occhi lucidi…. Il direttore ci fa vedere le aule con i computer e con le macchine da cucire, acquistati anche con il nostro aiuto, per aiutare questi bambini ad avere un futuro. Dopo un saluto ufficiale al monumento dei caduti della seconda guerra mondiale ripartiamo; la Russia ci aspetta. 4 ore di interminabili pratiche per l'ingresso dei mezzi, non senza alcuni momenti di tensione (sembrava che i documenti che avevamo non andassero bene) e finalmente alle 19 siamo in terra russa. Una galoppata notturna ci circa 500 km e alle 2 ora locale siamo finalmente a Mosca!
08-08-07 KRUGLOYE-MOSCA km. 600 After a quick visit to the town hall to meet the mayor and the local press we took the bikes and the car and drove to institute following the police patrol. The welcoming from the children was overwhelming: flowers, balloons, red carpet but especially all those smiling faces waiting for us, gave us an incredible warmth deep inside. The majority of children are currently away, families in Europe and Russia welcome these children for a few month, during summer, in order to lower the level of radiation (60 children are in Italy right now, others in Switzerland others in other Russian provinces. There were about 40 children of all ages waiting for us. We were all deeply moved as we approached the welcome committee then other children came with a bunch of origami crane that they prepared for the children of Hiroshima. Each crane was signed, by the child who made it, with name, drawings and peace messages. We visited the institute and we could appreciate all the investments done with the help of the Progetto Chernobyl. We saw the theatre, the sawing lab, the botany lab, the computer class … After exchanging the origami crane with the children we left the institute with a turmoil of emotion that we will as a treasure in our heart. The rest of the journey was without particular incident; of course entering into Russia with car and bikes was not an easy affair. We did that in 5 hours, which was not that bad… Now we have a better idea of what is burocracy!!! We arrived at Novotel in Moscow around 1 am. We decided to stay one more night , very kindly offered by our sponsor Accor Hotel. No drive tomorrow!!! We will spend the day visiting Moscow, updating web pages, email, calling home…. 8 月 8 日クルグローイェ 朝から孤児院を訪れました。孤児院では子供達が折り鶴を持って迎えてくれました。 さらにその折鶴にメッセージを書いて私達に渡してくれたのです。これを我々が広島まで持ってゆくことになります。孤児院を見学したあとは、ここを支援しているイタリアのチェルノブイリ・プロジェクト協会のメンバーとともに、クルグローイェを出発し、次なる目的地であるモスクワに向かいました。国境手前で彼らと別れて、いよいよロシアに入国したのですが、ここでの税関検査が思っていたように時間がかかり５時間近くつぶれました。やっと出発して５００キロ近くを走り、夜中過ぎになってやっとモスクワに到着したのです。皆疲れていたので、結局翌日は観光もかねてモスクワに留まる事にしました。 時差もあって、床に就いたのは朝の 3 時ごろでした。
