26-08-2007 • ULAN BATOR-ULAN UDE km. 470 Riprendiamo le moto dopo due giorni di stop: partenza all'alba per rientrare in Siberia. La strada e per fortuna asfaltata e attraversa verdi praterie e pascoli, con le solite gher a fare da splendida cornice. Arriviamo in circa tre ore al confine: contro ogni previsione l'uscita dalla Mongolia si rivelera lunghissima (circa tre ore), mentre il nuovo ingresso in Russia e veloce e ce la caviamo in un'ora. Le quattro ore complessive di attesa vengono comunque utilizzate da Carlo, Mario e Masato per dare un'occhiata ai bagni delle dogane: Montezuma ha colpito! Ad aspettarci fuori il confinec'e Darima, la nostra guida russa, una giovane e sveglia ragazza di origina mongola. La strada per Ulan Ude e molto bella, e attraversa boschi, laghi e paesini in legno, illuminati dalla calda luce del tramonto. Verso le 22 siamo a Ulan Ude e a cena cerchiamo di capire anche dalla guida com'e la strada che ci portera nell'estremo oriente russo; ma nessuno sembra saperne qualcosa. Domani inizia una nuova avventura.
26-08-2007 ULAN BATOR-ULAN UDE km. 470 After a nice rest in Ulan Bator here we are on the road again. In the capital of Mongolia everything is possible even a nice Italian restaurant. It is a big contrast with the rest of the country. We even saw a Ferrari, we wonder where can he drive that! We drive out in Mongolia along a very green landscape, a lot of well fed horses and a little traffic. At the border we expected a quick way out and then a long queue to enter Russia. As usual we were totally long and we waited more than 3 hours to leave Mongolia. On the contrary entering Russia was relatively easy. We met our guide at the border and we drove towards Ulan Ude through a nice hilly asphal road through the siberian forest. At dinner in Ulan Ude we discuss the road, nobody seems to have a clue, all hte times we ask we have different answers. For sure we know that there are some tarmac stretches some deviations for road works and some gravel road. We also know that there are thousands of Japanese second hand cars that every week are travelling that roads towards west. If they can do it, then we can do it too! 8 月 26 日ウランバトール - ウランウデ 今日は早朝からロシアのウランウデに向けて出発です。北に向かってアスファルト道を進むと国境に着きます。モンゴル国境は時間がかかりましたが、ロシア側は思っていたよりかからず 4 時間程度で入国します。 ロシアに入るとモンゴルをとは違った風景が広がります。夜になってやっとウランウデに到着しました。レーニンの頭の像のある広場の前のホテルに宿泊します。これからの旅でガイドをしてくれるダリーマという女性と会います。彼女はブリヤート人というモンゴル系の女性でウランウデはモンゴル系ブリヤート人のいる町です。
